01The app

Loupe is a photo-culling and filing app developed by GENEA. It runs entirely on your device and is sold as a one-time paid app through Google Play.

02Your licence

When you purchase Loupe, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the app on devices you own or control, for your own use, in line with Google Play's terms.

03What you may not do

• Copy, redistribute, resell, or sublicense the app.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to circumvent the purchase/licence check, except where the law expressly permits.
• Use the app for anything unlawful.

04Your content

Your photos and the data the app creates remain entirely yours and stay on your device. We claim no ownership over them and never access them. You are responsible for keeping your own backups.

05Purchases and refunds

Payments are processed by Google Play and subject to Google's terms. Refunds are handled by Google according to its refund policy.

06Availability and updates

We work to keep Loupe reliable but provide it on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may release updates that change or improve features over time.

07Disclaimer and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Loupe is provided without warranties of any kind, and GENEA is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from its use, including any loss of data. Always keep backups of important photos. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

08Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the “Last updated” date will change accordingly. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
