Privacy Policy

01Who we are

Loupe (“the app”) is developed and published by GENEA (“we”, “us”). You can reach us any time at dev.genea@gmail.com.

02Data we collect

None. Loupe has no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, and no account system. We do not collect your name, email, location, device identifiers, usage data, or any other personal information.

03Your photos and media

Loupe reads the photos you choose so you can review, magnify, and cull them. This all happens entirely on your device. Your photos are never uploaded, copied to a server, or transmitted anywhere. We never see them.

04Information stored on your device

To make the app work, Loupe saves the following locally on your device only (using on-device storage such as IndexedDB):

• Your culling decisions (keep / reject / maybe) for the current session
• Your statistics and daily streak (e.g. keep-rate, frames culled)
• Your app settings and language preference

This data stays on your device and is fully under your control. You can erase it at any time by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app.

05Permissions we use

• Photos / media access — solely so you can select and review your own photos inside the app.
• File storage / sharing — only when you choose to export a filing plan or share a result.

Loupe does not request access to your location, contacts, microphone, or camera background activity.

06Internet access and Google Play

Loupe is designed to run fully offline. The only time it contacts the internet is a one-time licence check with Google Play to confirm that your copy was purchased (Google Play Licensing). That check returns only a “licensed / not-licensed” result; it is handled by Google and governed by Google's Privacy Policy. We do not receive any personal data from it.

07Purchases

Loupe is a one-time paid app sold through Google Play. All payments are processed by Google — we never see or store your payment details. Google's handling of your purchase is governed by its own policies.

08Third-party services

Loupe includes no third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs. The only third party involved is Google Play, for app distribution, purchase, and the licence check described above.

09Children

Loupe is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone — including children.

10Data sharing and selling

We do not share or sell personal data, because we do not collect any.

11Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Because Loupe holds no personal data on any server, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or delete on your behalf. All data the app creates lives on your own device, where you can view or erase it directly at any time.

12Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and post the new version on this page. Material changes will be reflected before they take effect.
